Is it possible to reapply for medicine with grades AAAB with the B in A2 level Chemistry? Are there any medical schools which accept with AAA but do not specify the subjects needed to attain this?

do you mean you got a B at chemistry A-Level? It's tough, i would expect most med schools to specify chemistry as a requirement, and would probably want an A

You could easily look this up yourself, but as far as I know all of them want an A in chemistry. You could resit a module and some of them may accept that.

The lowest offer you can get for medicine is AAA, and most if not all medical schools say that Chemistry is compulsory. However, Bristol do offer a contextualised offer of AAB... Is there any chance of you resitting to try get it any higher? Sorry, I just think it might help your chances a bit!

I haven't got a B in Chemistry but I am pretty close to if I don't do well in the summer. I currently have an offer but I have been specified to get an A in Chem and just wanted to know if there were any medical schools that were not so specific. But. Thanks for your reply anyway?[s]confused

I suggest you work hard, it is always possible to get the grades if you work hard enough, and my friend got into vetinary school (although slightly different) with a B in Chemistry because he was only a couple of UMS off when it came to results day so the vet school took him anyway, so there's always a chance
