Hi im currently a college studendt and im just looks through different uni courses, im not even too sure what i was to do really. i did find this really interesting course at Exeter though, 'English with visual arts' everything about it just appeals to me. however i was just hoping to get some current info on the uni, like about the night life and how culturally diverse it is. Diversity is quite important to me. Also if anyone is doing or has done this course, could you please let me know how you found it, thanks

I live near to Exeter, the nightlifes not as great as somewhere like Plymouth or Liverpool its still not bad for uni students. Rococo's has a student night every Monday and its 3 for 1 drinks at Arena every Friday.

Depends how you define diversity. There are lots and lots of Chinese international students, and increasing numbers of African international students.

On a visual arts course you will be studying alongside overwhelmingly white students. A typical seminar group of 15 students is unlikely to have more than one person from an obvious British ethnic minority.

Diversity, of course, is much more than about skin colour....
