I consider myself as extreme right wing. Liberals and socialists have turned this country into an absolute joke. Noone takes any responsibility for themselves or anything else anymore and this is caused by the liberals making "excuses" for their actions. Take for example prisoners. "These people need rehabilitated and a cuddle." No they don't. They need a massive kick up the arse.

This country is full of people who don't know how lucky they are in the scheme of things compared to other countries such as India. Yet they all throw it away because they believe they should be equal. It simply doesn't work like that. That's Eutopia but because of greed it will never work, and that's a fact. I'm working class, and I know that. Im happy like that. I earn enough, I get by and I live within my means. Never have I claimed any benefit and I don't plan to. For example, if I can't afford a child, I won't have one. Simple as that. I won't make the state bare for my choice.

Far to little responsibility nowadays caused by two major factors; liberalism and socialism.

That's libertarianism. Not left wing. Left wing curtails freedom.
You cannot be this politically naïve.

LOL, because being left-wing is a perfectly valid and intelligent view to hold.

"Far left policies failed" so what, that doesn't mean that there is therefore something inherently wrong with all (more moderate) left-wing views. After all being right-wing doesn't mean that you have the same ideologies as Hitler. Extremist politics are always bad whatever side of the spectrum they are on.

I find myself asking more often why so many people are right-wing...

If you're capable of writing something as embarrassingly simplistic as "That's libertarianism. Not left wing. Left wing curtails freedom." with a straight face then clearly you are.

USA a somewhat right-wing country has absolutely thrived into the world's #1 economy by a long stretch!
There are more important things than the economy.

You re insane. Socialism in theory is also the inevitably road to a totalitarian governement, 0% freedom, 0% technological, medical, economic progreess. Tell me whats your education like? Because these can only be the words of a highly unintelligent person

Socialism, if done by the book, is the greatest system in the world...unfortunately, it has been abused and tarnished by the USSR, N Korea etc...
How the hell is socialism good?

Nature is about survival of the fittest. The Lion DOES eat the zebra- it's called nature and going against nature has never been smart...

The book that socialism comes from is a book that would destroy the nation which was foolish enough to adopt it...look at North Korea and USSR for examples

That's just false, there's plenty on the right like myself with plenty of green gems.

This forum is liberal but it is not overwhelmingly marxist or capitalist.
    Complete crap

I have seen people on TSR saying that individuals have the right to a family, even if they cannot afford one and the state should pay for their family. I have seen people defend immigrants who come here purely to claim benefits. Anyone with an IQ of 100 can tell these things are wrong.

-People do not have a right to have a family funded by other people
-Immigrants should not come here to claim benefits, only economically worthwhile immigrants should be allowed

I can understand why Labour's typical working class vote are left-wing, but what I really don't get is this (supposedly) educated left-wing "being a leftie is cool, rebel against the establishment" middle class who adore the Guardian. Look around... (sorry, I mean look around areas which aren't mummy and daddy's 3 bedroomed semi detached in Reading... ) this country is going to pot, being over-ran with Eastern Europeans and other foreigners.

They also have an absurd obsession with attacking the poor and immigrants which presumably is designed to create a hysterical atmosphere within which they can manipulate the Right.
Perhaps if the poor and immigrants weren't given so many benefits AND they didn't cause so much anti-social behaviour (1 in 3 Romanians in London have been arrested....) more people would like them?

I agree that left wing opinions would be higher at universities. But surely that's because the opinions are from those who are fairly young and less conservative since university isn't entirely representative of the whole academia field.
Hmmm but you expect people at uni to have enough sense to release the world is not ideal and a big welfare state will encourage laziness and benefit fraud
