Hi, i recieved a conditonal offer to study English at the University of Liverpool starting on September 23rd 2013. I dont know where to live, i saw carnatic and greenbank but i think Vine court looks nicer, judging from pictures. Just wondering am I going to be excluding myself from other undergraduates? Help.

Hey I'm currently a first year living at Greenbank, and I study english!
I'd say go for off campus- preferably Greenbank!! Derby and Rathbone for self catered!!
It feels more of a community and you get the general fun that is Smithdown Road area.
The rooms aren't Vine Court standard, BUT there just perfect for studenty fun type stuff
You won't be excluding yourself if you live in Vine Court, I know a few people who have actually been really lucky and got good flats of nice people! But there will be more internationals/people less willing to socialise in my experience.
I'd say go for Greenbank or Carnatic (though Carnatic is a little bit of a dump) and you will get to know the beautiful experience that is Chesters Chicken.... No joke. Anyway, hope this helps in some way!!
What's the best type of cheese?
