Hi there. Got conditional offers from both and both are asking for pretty much the same grades(I'm EU stdent, so maybe it's because of that). I don't know which one to firm and which one to put as insurance. Notts seem to be better overall, but Sheffield uni's history course is supposed to be very very good(better recearch assessment, entry standarts, etc..) So which one would you choose?:curious: Nightlife, international students experience may play a big part too.
    Thanks.

'Prestige' counts for nothing is you hate the course and drop out. So dont choose on that basis. What other people think of any course wont tell you if its the Uni/course *you* will enjoy most.

Get a large piece of paper, divide it in two and write down the pros and cons of each Uni/course. Dont forget to look at the detailed unit/module descriptions for each of the three years (which would you actually choose?), and check out things like the possibility of a Year Abroad, taking units from other subject areas etc. Also look at University facilities like Library provision/opening hours, IT facilities, sport, campus catering, accommodation, distance from home etc. Pin the piece of paper on the wall and add to it when other things occur to you. Just writing things down can sometimes help clarify all the vague thoughts swimming about in your head.
