I am 18 years old and have 5As and 5Bs at GCSE.
I only have two week's voluntary experience in a primary school.

I want to apply for an apprenticeship in business admin/ICT.

Do you think I will get an interview for the apprenticeships which require 5Cs?

    Any advice would be welcomed

It's hard to say really because it totally depends who you are up against....why not go onto the apprenticeships site and apply for some admin positions and just see what comes of it? Your GCSE results are good which makes you stand out from others and they will see from that that you are academically able to do the course Your age will also probably set you apart from the rest as you have maturity on your side. Others applying for apprenticeships are unlikely to have much experience as they will be school leavers mainly, so only having experience in a primary school shouldn't go against you.
I'd say what's really important is to submit a good application, highlighting what skills/experience/personal qualities you have that are good for the role. Have a look at what kind of person they are looking for and reflect this back to them. And have a think about what kind of qualities you want to emphasise: for example, are you good with computers? have you got a GCSE in IT? Are you organised, hard working, trustworthy?

I don't see anything that will hold you back from getting an apprenticeship, good luck!

How long it takes to find an apprentiship can vary- depending on what area of work it is, how many people you are up against etc. For my sister, it didnt take very long, but it does vary.
How about going to your local college and see what they do apprentiships wise. I know both colleges near me do various apprentiships where you are at work 4 days a week and at college 1 day a week.
You have good gcse grades, so that will help you out a lot. If they require 5 C's, then you meet that criteria, so you shouldnt have a problem there.
