I did my Biology and Chemistry unit 1 exams in January (ocr) and for both of them, I got 70/90 ums which is a B. It is about 1 - 2 raw marks away from an A.
I am still struggling to decide whether to retake these or not. I personally think I worked hard and tried my best for these exams to be honest.. but it didnt turn out that great as i expected.
this unit is worth 30% of the AS module. Any suggestions?

If you are only just a little bit off, why not a remark?

I was two UMS off an A in my politics AS but I'm just assuming that I'll pick it up in future exams, personally

If you think there may be a negative impact on your summer exams due to you spending time on these, then I'm not sure I'd retake as you were close. That said, I ended up taking a retake for each of my subjects at different points as the first attempt just didn't go to plan. They were always a fair bit below what I wanted and the retakes were all worth it. If say, you want an A* at the end of your A-level, then you'd need to get the A, but if not I might leave it. If others go badly you can then look at it again or retake those.
