Ok so I'm choosing my a levels and I really want to go to Cambridge when I'm older to read Law. So, what I wanna know is... What would be better for law: English lit, history, french and chemistry OR english lit, classics, french and chemistry? The a level blacklist website puts classics and history under 'generally suitable', but I was wondering if one was more suitable than another for my chosen course? I think I would enjoy history and classics equally, so dont tell me to choose the one I like best please lol thankyou for all answers in advance!

why not do history and classics? unless your school blocking system permits that. History, classics and eng lit would more than perfect for a law degree.

History, French, English Lit and Chemistry sounds like a winning combination. 2 essay subjects, a science and a foreign language showcases various skills and they're all really respected. I'd go with those 4 unless you have a burning desire to do classics.
