Yep. English and film & visual culture.
No, still no offer I called today though and was told they've got loads of applications to get through. So I'll just have to wait I think.

Yeah they've had a really high influx of applicants this year apparently, think the amount of applicants has went up by 10% or something!

im also going to aberdeen this year to study primary education, so excited! The only problem im having is deciding on my accommodation, i think esslemont house is my first choice as i want self catering and it seems to have been refurbished. New Carnagie is a bit out of my price range and so im considering south house and kings hall, so confused! just wondering what everyone is else considering

Woo well done! you're considering the same accomodation as me then! I thought Esslemont or Burnett would be good as they've been refurbished, so I'll wait and see what the pricing is like. New Carnegie Court is out of mines too if I want to have money left over, so if I don't end up going for Esslemont or Burnett then it'll be South House or Kings Hall for me too!

Awesome! That makes 3 of us then if they haven't put the pricing up out of my price range due to the refurbishment then I'm definitely opting for that!

    Don't tell me that!!
I read something saying that and also that it's almost as hard to get into Aberdeen as Oxford now.. So that's encouraging

    Oh no sorry!! Haha.

Yeah I read that too, STV article? Tbh they used Oxford to make it sound more prestigious even though Aberdeen is already a good university. They could've picked any other uni with the same nber rofl applicants per course, but saying Oxford sounds good for the press :P
