I loved Leeds when I looked at it but I wondered if it really felt like a campus uni being in the middle of a city? Also heard it's party mecca - I want to go out and have fun, just not seven nights a week, is Leeds true of this reputation?
It's between Leeds or Nottingham, the main reason I'm drawn to Nottingham is because it's a campus more within itself, more green, a bit closer to home (I'm from the South East). Also having lived in London my entire life, I feel that Leeds is basically the 'up north' equivalent, kind of want to live somewhere that isn't a huge city?
My gut says Leeds but there's so many parts about it that I'm not keen on. Though two of my closest friends are going to firm Nottingham which is why I'm slightly reluctant. I'm looking for someone really really bias who can tell me how brilliant Leeds is and how I should definitely firm it basically.
(I'm applying to study History single honors bdw so in terms of league tables etc. both are similar, both Russell Group too.)
Is freshers still worth it?
