Help, i'm stuck between Huddersfield and Southampton Solent! I'm really struggling to decide a firm. I'm quite drawn towards Southampton (location obviously) and some of the cool stuff you get to experience during the course. However, their "bad" reputation and low rankings are giving me doubts and the fact that i can't find any theoretical modules in the degree's criteria :/. This could decrease my chances of employment, as the field is so specific.

Huddersfield has a sturdy course with general journalism skills. Although i don't know how cosmopolitan the area will be and i'm a die-hard city girl. Everyones telling me go Hudds, but i don't know. I just don't want to regret anything.

I understand that this is the type of question you need to decide for yourself, but i have been putting this off for months now and it's drawing close to the Ucas deadline thing. Oops, diden't mean to write an essay haha. Any advice anyone.? Regards,Ellie.

Have you gone to both open days? I recommend you go if you haven't yet. If you have then I guess it depends on if you like the course and which uni is the best for your course.

If you are looking for theoretical modules. Do Huddersfield offer them?

It's your decision and not what other people think is the best. If you like Southampton solent and you like the course over Huddersfield then go for it!
