    I am interested in chemical engineering, but with the ability to work with cells (human cells, human tissue, microbes, genes etc)

    which programmes offer that?

    Chemical engineering is a really broad subject. But it's less to do with...cells.
    It's more to do with improving technology in some form or another, or creating/ modifying pharmaceuticals or food in benefit for us, nanotechnology all that good stuff.

    If you're looking for a more biological based subject, I'd suggest looking at the biological sciences.

    Cell Biology
    Biotechnology
