theres this guy in our year who got
a few A's but mostly B' and C's at GCSE
got CDD for his AS level

this year he begged to the teachers to predict him ABB

And yet managed to get an offer for maths and computer science at
    IMPERIAL!!!!!
the usual offer Imperial give for this course is AAA yet for him they have given BBB!!!

how unfair is this...plus he does do any sports, debating, YE, DOE, community etc. Ive known him for 5 to 6 years now and he dossed about all his school years (and almost got suspended once!!) yet now he only has to get BBB to go to a world famous uni
If he is good enough he will be successful, if he is not then he will fail. Either way the fact that he put no work in and got an offer is irrelevant as it has no bearing on the offers that others would have recieved. Imperial no doubt know what they are looking for and clearly they feel that this person has it. IMHO it is wrong for us to question thier decision. Also if he is in fact as bad as you make out then he won't make the BBB requirement anyway so you have little / nothing to be annoyed at.
