Hey guys, can anyone give any insight as to having Southampton as an insurance and ending up in shared accommodation? When you do get moved into single accommodation, are the only ones left the rubbish ones that nobody wanted or applied for?

    Cheers

The rooms that open up to move out of aren't the "rubbish ones" or the ones noone applied for - they're the odd rooms within full flats and floors where someone didn't turn up or dropped out or moved out to private accommodation within a few weeks.

IIRR you get quite a bit of choice over which sort of room you'd move into (ie if you're happy to keep sharing then you can do, and if you'd rather share for another week or three until an en suite comes up or a room at glen or monte then that's fine too). They wont force you out of a shared room into something you'd hate...the only time you might end up in something less suitable is if you don't get on with your room mate and so they offer you the chance to move somewhere else temporarily while they look for something permanent.
