If it's evaluating sports drinks the most you will have to do is just pick out information from text they will give you and use that to state pros and cons then your conclusion. Theres nothing about it you can learn that's worth 6 marks all you need to know is that it contains glucose ions and water to replace those lost in sweat.

Depending on the isa. This is why I wanna retake b1 D:

wow that is rather high .. still B1 one would be the best to resit as it is slightly smaller than B2 ..... but the grade boundries will be much higher this summer than when we sat it :/

still its best to be optimistic

Let's say the 6 marker was "explain a Biogas generator." What would you put?

Look through the pages of this thread there are many full answers, these are some brief points you could mention.

    - input of waste
    - mention micro-organisms decomposing waste and where waste comes from
    - to produce methane micro-organisms decompose in absence of air (anaerobic fermentation)
    - CO2 initially produced because microorganisms initially respire aerobically (O2 is eventually used up)
    - they have an optimum temperature (30 to 40 degrees celcius)
    - slurry leftover used as fertiliser on crops
    - biofuel comes out top
    - can be used for cooking, heating, generating electricity etc.

Just noticed in the specification it says that we need to be able to 'evaluate the use of artificial valves'. Has anybody got any good notes on this that they would kindly share?
