I achieved 93 UMS in both B2 and B1. My teacher marked my ISA as 41, which I thought was really harsh as I got 48 in both Physics and Chemistry. Any suggestions on what I will need in B3 for A* or A? thanks

I'd say 84-88 ums for an A* (84 if the ISA mark is 90ums and 88 if the ISA mark is 86 ums, which I think would be the worst case scenario) and for an A, I think you'll need 44-48 ums in B3

Just to let everyone know, I've finished the unofficial mark scheme!

It's got all the answers and has predicted grade boundaries. It's at: http://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/show....php?t=2351258. Hope everyone did well in the exam!

A definite A grade but could be an A* if grade boundaries aren't too high. A lot of people found B3 hard so the grade boundaries for B3 should be lower than those for B2.

I think I got around 48-50 marks. Do you think this is enough for an A*?

Anyone know how many ums marks 44/50 raw marks in the bio ISA might be? Any ideas?

I thought the paper was surprisingly easy, but idk, the grade boundaries will probably be put up a lot.

    I think it'll be:
    A* - 51 raw marks
    A - 42 RM

Still think 50+ grade boundaries for A* is so unrealistic it isn't just the relative ease of the paper a few other factors matter too. B2 was much easier and there were less people sitting it plus It was not the first ever exam - yet an A* was 48.

51 A* that's saying it was the same difficulty as the p2 exam in January 2013, despite the fact many people fond the b3 exam difficult! Definitely not mate , I would say 46 A* at worst...
