This might sound boring as hell, but I have an app that monitors my sleep, Sleep Cycle, which I find quite interesting. There's an alarm built into it too which has nice soothing ringtones to wake up to

I just like it because it shows you your sleeping patterns over one night, such as your light and deep stages of sleep (this is based on your movements, you keep your phone next to your pillow whilst you sleep). It can let you know your sleep 'quality' percentage, based on this. You can also add information before you go to sleep that day such as 'drank coffee', 'did exercise' and over time it can let you know whether this has a positive of negative impact on your sleep quality.

    For example for me:
    Total nights: 323
Average time in bed: 8:02 hrs
    Drinking Coffee: -3% sleep quality
    Exercising: +4% sleep quality
    Drinking Alcohol: +1% sleep quality
Had a Nap: +7% sleep quality

Okay I think I've truly outdone myself in talking about pointless rubbish nobody else is interested in, but I hope it is of interest to someone...!

This is really interesting! I might have to download it

I don't have many apps, just the generic Facebook, TSR, Twitter and Antivirus. I've synced my emails in the mail app. I've also had various games but got bored of them so now they're deleted. My phone doesn't have loads of space and annoyingly it came with some apps I don't use but can't be removed haha. I do like my phone, but I'm due for an upgrade soon!

I don't have a smartphone, but do have a lot of iOS apps that I like on my iPad, like:

    Facebook
    Twitter
MyFitnessPal (has really helped me to lose lots of weight)
TV Catchup (great for watching live TV on my iPad)
Streets of Rage II (because I loved playing this on my Sega Megadrive as a child )
Ether Books (for downloading short stories to read)
    Pages (for advanced word-processing)

All but the Ether Books app are iPad-specific apps, but I think that many of them also come as pretty similar iPhone apps.
