Hi, I am a CIE ALEVEL student

I did International History paper (32) in October/November in 2012.
Unfortunately my I got a d(56) so I requested a recheck and return of my script, after the recheck it told me that my ums will stay at d(56).

Now that I got my paper back I can see that my previous mark is 48/100 and now rose to 51/100. This according to the grade threshold, where it requires 50/100 to get c, meant that now I move up to c, but CIE confirms that mine is a d(56) and that the ums doesn't move up.

    The Grade Threshold here is
    For AS Level Component 32

There is also the 'paper' threshold, it should not be confused with this qualification threshold.

    1. Why does this happen?
    2. Is it possible for marks to go up by 3/100 and the UMS still does not move?
    3. What should I do? (I tried to speak to my Head of Sixthform but he seemed convince that my UMS should stay the same.

    Thank you for your help!
