    Hi Mark-Lee,this summer is going to be my 3rd year living on my own.I want to ask a couple things:
    1. I'm going to apply in April, by that time it's only gonna be 2 years and 9 months living on my own BUT by the rime I start my course 3 years.am I independent student or not?
    2.is 3 p60 forms enough to proove that I live on my own?

    Hi Paul,

    If you're under 25 years old you will need to provide your income and the P60s or payslips from 3 separate tax years to be classed as an independent student. You could be living with your parents but as long as you can show your 3 years earnings we'll still assess you as independent.

    We don't need to know whether you're living alone or otherwise just that you have financially support yourself.
