This guide is hilarious. Cambridge 5th? UCL 10th? I suppose it's because I'm focused on the reputation of the course at the university, and the graduate expectations, that's all. But this guide is seriously ridiculous, show it to anyone on the Economics thread and they'll laugh.
What's wrong with York, or any of Loughborough, Sheffield and Birmingham for that matter? They are all reputable unis, and York is certainly solid for Economics. Looking at rankings as a gauge for reputation is highly unreliable to be honest, as unis such as Manchester and KCL, which are generally lower-ranked yet favoured by employers, continue to prove.

I'd say going from CCDU at AS level to gaining offers from these unis is a great achievement to be honest, and deserves to be regarded as a sucess story!
