No, because it was only a couple of hairs, my parents have had a look and they can't find it? I think it has been cut off. I'm quite worried about it. Anyway, how long does dying your hair have effect for? But, yeah it's a bit bleak starting to go grey at my age/ if anyone thinks I'm overreacting, then I'm sorry, but, I might be in shock or something...........

Why care? It happens to everyone at some stage. Just get it dyed by a decent hairdresser if it really bothers you. It could be worse, you could be going bald, imagine how that would feel.

I got my first grey hair ~19, now I have maybe 10-15 scattered across the top of my head?

It's fine, I know I won't go bald, grey hair isn't so bad, in my opinion.

Yeah, that would be worse, it happened to my grandfather at 22, so I know where your coming from. But, it still hurts and it's not the worst thing in the world, but, it sucks y'know? How long does it take for dye to wear out? And I'm not sure if I should dye it as the grey hair got cut off? I think. I didn't actually see the grey hairs myself, but, the barber did. I have looked for it since and can't see any? But, it hurts that it would happen when I am young and want to be young.

Don't get it dyed yet. If you only have a couple now then it will probably be about 10 years or so before it begins to become obvious. We have too many hairs on our head for one to make a difference.

I have found a few, and so have most of my friends. It's not uncommon to have a couple of grey hairs!

God, I hope so. I can't believe I'm compromising to get grey hairs at 28? depressing. Is there anything I can do to completely get rid of grey hairs for a long time?

I found my first grey hair at about 17, one occasionally shows its face in the same spot from time to time. I'm 29 now. I think the most I've ever had at any one time is two, and neither have been especially noticeable. I don't have any at the moment.

So, it isn't the end of the world, might just be an anomaly like mine.

On the bright side, when a gentleman goes grey, he doesn't become old, he just becomes a dashing silver fox.

It's fairly normal so relax, it's not a sign that you're going to have a head full of grey hair any time soon.
