Hi guys. I work extremely hard but don't often get good grades. It's so frustrating! I realize that you need to work smart. Could anyone please offer some advices. I am doing economics and I am in final year at the university. I aim to get at least a first in my examination marks

    Thank you in advance.

You can spend 10 hours a day working, but that doesn't 'always' translate into high grades.

Maybe you need to seriously consider your revision technique - do you have enough breaks? do you revise at awkward times? does your brain function better during certain parts of the day? the place you revise/potential distractions hurt your revision etc?

Also, you need to ask yourself if you're fully happy with the content and concepts you're learning about. If you don't feel you understand it then ask for help, friends/lectures/tutor etc.

You just need to see what works best for you, if what you're doing now doesn't feel right then try experimenting with different revision techniques.

I think my main problem is concentration!
