I label it horizontally, just above the y axis. Both are fine as long as they clearly show that they label the y axis.

I'm expecting something from unit 1. Unit 2 stuff is in most of the pst pprs. Maybe cvd, protein synthesis, membrane and transport...

Could someone help with plotting a graph for this data?
    (Date against number of tests)

    Attachment 213292

    It's from June 2009, 6BI07, question 2 (b)(ii)

I can't find a suitable scale for the y-axis; the mark scheme doesn't give any details about the scale either.
    My graph.

SKK94 heres it .... not sure about it but this is my try Attachment 213315 & Attachment 213316
and NilFBosh I hv posted the table for that bar chart .please check it and also check for me this one that i solved, I can improve it by adding a break in the y axis (but not from the start), but am not sure if it's possible to do so??
The mk scheme gives a mark for plotting points. Doesn't that mean it should be a line graph? But technically a bar graph answers the question and shows the increasing trend...

    :dontknow:

I cnt see your graph now... but I'm assuming you used y values/1000.

The mk scheme awards a mark for correct scaling, so that is correct but when labelling the axis make sure you mention it like " No. of tests (thousands)"

omg i hate that question about implications..any help/suggestions/explanations
    +
Heres one of the most hated questions by me lol..plz any one make this topic clear to me please, I ll be so thankful!
    Attachment 213235
In line 29 it says "Very large amounts of money are used in keep and breed animals" It mentions money so this is an economical issue

    For ur 1st question...
Environmental- Something which affects the environment like conservation.
Social - Something to do with society like educating public on the awareness on something.
Ethical - Is it right to do something like using embryos for stem cell research and using daphnia.
Economical - Something related to money.

yes. that is correct. But it should be a line graph ask the x variables are continuous and the mark scheme also says so but I'm sure a bar graph will be accepted.

only the name of the publisher
Jan 2013 ppr has place of publisher too in the template. Therefore it is possible for the publisher address to be in the bibliography. (Only if given or asked)

where can i get exminer reports online ??
    go to http://www.edexcel.com/quals/gce/gce...s/default.aspx
and click Examiner report, it'll drop down just like other marking schemes just download the relevant year/ paper.
