Anyone embarrassed about carrying their laptop around uni?

My "daily driver" (own more than 1 laptop) has enough power to smoke a lot of desktops. It's stylish, has a full-HD screen, blu-ray, the lot.

But nobody ever notices, because nobody ever cares, myself included.

If I had a cheap **** laptop, I couldn't care less what others thought.
If you're really that embarrassed of your laptop, you could always try putting it in this awesome new phenomena called a bag.

No one ever "admired" you laptop. At best, a couple of students would think, "Cool laptop", and then quickly get on with their lives. No one really cares what brands you have unless they're a pompous git.

My laptop regularly makes racist remarks. It's embarrassing.

My old laptop was 8 years old and had the name of my old work etched into the lid in inch high letters. Even this was only commented on it once.

I've now replaced it with a nice and boring Lenovo. :smile:
