    I just need help with these 2 questions, why would protein enzyme release and found in blood by pancreatitis by unhealthy and amylase found in blood be okay? :/ Understand enzymes but very stuck, need help

    1) Why would amylase found in the blood of someone, not affect them?
    2) Why would protein enzymes released by pancreatitis into the blood be harmful?

    Because amylase in blood does not last for a long time in the blood. So the symptoms of hyperamylasemia are often not recognized.
