    Have to use the following equation:

    [IO3]- + 6H+ + 6[S2O3]2- --> I- + 3H2O + 3[S4O6]2-

    molecular mass of iodine - 126.9 and titre values are 42.23 for one and 41.60 for another (different compounds so can't average). Also have weights for the 2 compounds in order to do a calculation.

    I just don't know how to start it and once I have a vague idea I'll know how to do the rest. Not looking for an answer as such, just guided in the right direction

    Cheers

    You need to be specific what your titre values are for - i.e. volume of which reactant/solution?

    You often have to work backward with these titration equation.
