What's your point of view regarding dating websites?? Don't we loose a little bit of "romance" by starting to chat via computers??. But at the same time, if the girl of your dream exist there. Why would you miss the shot??

I think dating websites are great!..in theory. Opening the flood gates for relationship opportunities to anyone who may be struggling to find the man/women of their dreams is awesome. But personally, I wouldn't ever use one. my main issues aside from the fact I think it's a bit of a lazy approach to meeting people are:

1- Infidelity...anyone can create an account on a website. and the ease of meeting someone for a random bit of hanky panky becomes all the more accessible for those prone to cheating.
2- The companies taking advantage of this to earn millions is, I believe, ethically and morally wrong.
3- I think it is a "test tube" approach to socialising which could be devastating for humans.
4- People aren't who they say they are...watch the series "catfish" and you'll know what I mean!

So personally I don't like the idea. but I don't hate anyone that does. it's just a personal decision that everyone is entitled to

    1. Or those who are just looking to ****.
    2. You want every company to be not-for-profit?
    3. What?
    4. The only, and I must add most important, reason that really should make people at least think about what they're doing online.

    ummmmmmm,

    1-...yes like I said
    2- I never said that
3- Picking and choosing who to form relationships with narrowing the basic ability to communicate within a normal varied environment.
4- yes..but you never know what OTHER people are doing right?

do dating websites post mail? if you don't enter your address? is there a way they can track it down?

I'm probably being too paranoid but I do not want to receive any mail from them lol.
