# Matrix Transformations watch

1. How do you do a matrix transformation? How can you work out whether the transformation is rotation, shear, stretch or reflection?

E.G. Write down the matrix, A, that represents a shear with x-axis invariant in which the image of the point (1,1) is (4,1).

I wrote that the transformed matrix is 4,0,1,1(Forming a rectangle with points (0,0), (0,1), (4,0) and (4,1)) and therefore A is 4,0,1,1.

The answers say that the matrix is 1,3,0,1 and the new shape has points (0,0), (1,0), (3,1) and (4,1)

what did I do wrong??
