I still got an A overall... it's cause I was in an int 1/int 2 french class so we hadn't done any french listening before. Therefore, that was my first. So.. taking things in to consideration, it's hardly bad.

Congratulations with your final result. But I don't understand why you'd not have done any listening before? It's an integral part of learning a language like French. Seems counterproductive to me. It's like starting a course in Maths and not learning the order of arithmetic operations.

Thats just racist. Plus with maths there is a straight answer and the examination is not subjective, you know if you work hard there is a minimum grade you should achieve but with english you can go from a A to a U

Just write a disclaimer above your English essay: "If you ask a stupid question you get a stupid answer (see below). Who really cares about the symbolic imagery of a poem or the writer's techniques in a book? I read for enjoyment or information, and if I wanted to disect something I'd have done biology".

Now the techniques used above are: repetition (to labour my point of how stupid Higher English is) and a rhetorical question (again - for emphasis).

Disclaimer: don't really write this.

I was one of few people doing int 2 in the class, so we couldn't of had an int 2 listening going on as all the int 1s would have been talking and all. But I got through it in the end and in the exam I actually found the listening ok.

I don't know what I read when someone said computing was the easiest higher and P.E was the hardest. Seriously? P.E's just a memory game, no problem solving or anything just regurgitating solid facts.

Computing is a hard higher.

The hardest would be: Physics, Maths, English, Chemistry in that order.

Easiest: some crap like photography or care.

Easiest: Subjects such as Law, Biology, economics, basically everything that is just pure memory/just read a book and learn what it tells you.

Hardest: Real subjects such as Maths, Physics, Engineering, which actually need brainpower to learn.

There is no Higher Law or Higher Engineering... have you even studied any Highers?

No highers are "Easy" but some are harder than others!
Easiest: Going to go with Modern Studies- Good subject if you can write very quickly and remember your essays.
Hardest: Computing. Was going to say Chemistry but I actually passed the Chemistry prelim, unlike Computing!

Hi there I just wanted to get an idea of what everyone think there easiest and hardest highers are.
I'll start.
Easiest: Computing
Hardest: Physical Education

my RMPS teacher says that it's the third hardest subject at higher 💔 it's probably that hardest subject, higher drama paper is also brutal 💔💔💔

For me personally I found maths, pe and apps of maths to be my best and easiest subjects due to the practical nature of pe and just doing past paper revision for maths
English and chemistry were my worst subjects because I found English hard to study and I was missing my chem teacher for some of the year

easiest: bio, business, maths
hardest: chem, english
