Winter Dry Skin- help! watch

    • Thread Starter

So I've never really had a problem with this before, but the past couple of months my skin has been so bloody dry and I can't keep it under control.

I exfoliate every 2 days-ish, and moisturise heavily morning and night (and occasionally during the day too). It just seems to get worse.

I'm used to wearing foundation daily, but lately it just flakes and looks godawful so most times I'll go without just to avoid my skin looking like the sahara.

It's mostly annoying because of how much money I've spent on products to try and control the problem. My current moisturiser was £50 for godsake with the promise that "it will definitely sort out your dry skin." Well, *******s, no it hasn't.

So does anybody have any ideas or products or anything to tackle this problem?

The best brand I've found for dry skin is estée lauder. I used to have skin like you described but I went to an estée lauder counter and got their pore minimizer cream, hydrating day cream, hydrating cleanser, night repair cream and loads more. I use BB cream for foundation and the difference in my skin is phenomenal. I don't even have to use the products religiously. I used them religiously for a few weeks and since then, it's a mix of plain water and using them.

Do you agree with the proposed ban on plastic straws and cotton buds?
