This doesn't happen very often, but sometimes I will just be sitting needing a pee but I haven't summoned the energy to get up and go to the toilet. After a while I feel a bit of dampness, and then I'll smell it. There's a fair amount of wee there its not even as if its a wee trickle (but its not nearly as much as what comes out when I'm on the toilet). I never even felt any of it coming out the actual hole though. There seems to be a positive correlation between this happening and me being on my period. Is this a problem, or is it something to do with the tampon putting pressure on the bladder/ urethra? Someone help, I''m very confused.

It could be that your pelvic floor muscles are weak, although a lot of girls say they experience problems with accidentally wetting themselves whilst on their period and using tampons. Try sticking to pads for a while and do your pelvic floor exercises! Imagine you're clenching the muscle you clench to stop yourself peeing and hold for 20 seconds. Do this every day, trust me, it'll benefit you in the long run. If it continues, see your GP.
