    Hey all!

I may be venturing to UoN come september to start a PhD in the Institute of Neuroscience.

Can any current students from the uni as a whole comment on what it and the surrounding areas are like? I've never visited so i really know nothing as it stands about the place

Also, any other people potentially starting there this september for UG or PG?

Top city - much nicer than Birmingham...

Tons of stuff to do. Very student centred. The uni is really cool - was my first choice and have never looked back on it. Very cheap accom compared to the rest of the country also!

I currently student at Newcastle University and it is amazing!

I study Biomedical Sciences/pharmacology and the medical facilities are amazing! The staff are all brilliant and experts in their field!

As for the city/people/nightlife, you can find the excellent reviews anywhere on the Internet!
