What do you feel your nationality is and why?
Do you feel British or just Scottish or Welsh or English?
I feel Londoner>Englishman>British
I do NOT feel European at all really-the English channel is there for a reason!

I consider myself both English and British, but don't really think it matters, at the end of the day we're all human.

English. Not British/European/anything else.
I always write English on forms that ask for nationality and it pisses people right off

Scottish then British.
I do consider myself british, but if you were to ask me where I come from, or what my nationality is i'd always say Scotland or scottish.

I consider myself British but my nationality doesn't mean much to me anyway.
I am British by virtue of having been born in the nation Scotland which has been in union with the rest of the UK for over 300 years.
The United Kingdom exists as a nation then, a nation I was born within and a nation my anncestors were born within and who have settled in all parts of the UK.
I am Scottish yes but to not recognise that I also live within the United Kingdom and are a British citizen therfore BRITISH would be entierly foolish.
Again though I am British ONLY because I was born here it does not make me any more or less of an individual.

Someone is English when they truly feel they are English, doesnt matter if you werent born here or not.
E.g An immigrant comes to England, and says they are English and defend Englishness, then they're English.
Those who come to the country, and dont respect englishness and people's right to express it, then they're not English.
Its not a status in any respect, its more of a personal feeling. *inserts scenario*
Someone comes from Pakistan, England in whatever circumstance ends up in a war with Pakistan, if that person starts protesting in England against it and start embracing Pakistan, then they're not English, or British. Simples as that.

Not a nationalist - there is a difference between being proud of your country and being a BNP supporter.

I'd consider myself British first, English second. Though I am hugely proud of my city (London), too. I do believe it's the greatest city in the world.

English first (lived here since 2), Scottish second (was born there and have visited) and European third (like it or not we are off the coast of Europe, not in the mid-Atlantic).

British. My family tree is strewn with people who migrated here from Scotland, Wales and Ireland.

I feel Australian even though I've had to live most of my life in England. Hated it but if I had to choose, North Westerner.

British, just one little island and a big happy family. Besides got to grant the Scots and Welsh their dues, they did help us build an empire
