Should I take this ****ty job or just not bother? watch

I agree with everyone that said your attitude needs to change. No matter where you work you should be able to gain something. I've ended up in a job in retail and I used to begrudge working here all the time. My attitude wasn't good at all, then I got a better office job and thought I was too cool for my other work place. The office folk had to let me go after a few months so I was left working in retail. This definetly brought me back down to earth though and I realised I was very lucky to have job. Yes the pay sucks but I have learnt alot about myself, gained more confidence And found out what my strengths Are. Although I still would love something more challenging I've made the most of it. My managers have seen good potential and I am looking to move on to a supervisor role. It isn't my dream job but it is something!!!! It doesn't have to be forever. I can use my spare time to invest in other things and keep looking for something better. You can do the same , have your day job and then go home and programme. One of the worst feelings has to be being broke! It is better than nothing. When you go to future interviews at least they will see you don't have any gaps in your CV.
