haha block a's fire alarm goes off all the time!!! *** well, my flatmates jus walk out of our rooms, say hi 2 every1 and go back 2 bed. not 2 bad. its fun. once we all just stayed up and made food

Really noisy
Pain in the ass to move in/out (nowhere to park/stairs)
Stairs if you're high up
The atmosphere depends where you are, I'm in block F and it's pretty quiete.
Unite accomadation isn't that good in general compared to the others, opal, liberty living etc. My brother lives at prospect point, which is part of liberty, is waaaay nicer than grand central and cheaper.

Hi there! My second post around here :smile:

I study architecture in Madrid, Spain.

Next year I will be staying at Liverpool if i get to receive one of the ten Erasmus places available at my uni. I am hoping to stay at Grand Central because I want to live the nearest to the city centre. Regarding that, is it the best choice? I read about the stairs... :s-smilie:

Do the elevators stop working constantly or what???

I´ve noticed that a lot of people change several times of hall, what´s the reason for that???
Here in Spain people usually stay at the same hall all the time of their degree (you make a circle of friends and all that) or if you leave your hall is to live in a flat seeking for more freedom...

If anybody can tell me about Grand Central, architecture in Liverpool University or anything else that could be useful i will be gratefull! Thanx :biggrin:
