Yes if all your med school reject you, you can go through clearing. You can also apply through extra (but you'll have to look that up on UCAS)
    (Original post by FlavaFavourFruit)
Yeah you can do it anytime I think!
    Ok, thanks

I have A* in maths As in chem and bio and B in physics. No GCSEs dont have IGCSE too. UKCAT 630.5

You can still add one after the deadline if you have a fifth space, I did that last year.

    Hi,
I am a bit confused on how to enter modules we resat.
For example I resat a AS Biology module at A2. I went up from a B to an A, so do I have to enter both modules? Also if you consider the UMS of the retaken module, that would mean my overall grade went from a B to an A, so what would should I put my overall grade as?

Also for Maths in A2 i retook C3 in the same year, does this mean I have to enter both modules in UCAS?

    I'm really confused. Please help
Someone please please help me.. I'm really confused how I enter resit modules in UCAS

Also if we did a module in a college but didnt attend it, how do we enter the module in ucas?
What institution do we put the module under? UCAS asks for the start and end date of the college - when I didnt attend it.

Whatever module you sat or resat within year 12 or 13 does not need to be mentioned, only put in your overall grade. A resit applicant is only someone who on year 13 results day, did not achieve AAA and has to resit a module during his/her gap year.

    What module did you do?

No I am not resitting any modules in my gap year. I retook an AS Biology module in year 13 and a maths module in A2 june(after first taking it in january). So dont I need to enter these grades again?

Also I resat GCSE English in a college, but did not attend it, so how should I enter this in UCAS? As UCAS wants to know my start and finish date for the college - when in fact I only attended there just for the exam.

    Thanks.

That's strange, the only AS I put down was the one I didn't take to A2, did they tell you why? I guess they want the application form to be as informative as possible but honestly I don't think it's necessary if you've taken them to A2.

Thats what I thought. I don't think that they have very much experience working with re applicants but oh well. The extra information won't hurt I guess

    Hi!

    I got 8A*s A B 2C for GCSE
(I retook GCSE English which I got an A* from C - so now 9A*s)

    A*AA for A levels

    UKCAT: 665

I was thinking of applying to: Sheffield, Bristol, UAE, St Georges, Liverpool, Manchester, Brighton

I find it really hard to shortlist as I am fine with them all. What would you recommend with my academic results?

How often do you all check your emails for UCAS updates? I'm temped to give myself a limit, like once a day, or even once a week... I checked it so much last time round!

Hey quick question, when writing the personal statement do the specialties get capital letters eg. Gynaecology and Psychiatry? Also does the specialist get a capital letter e.g Anaesthetists?

    Thanks!!
