Does anyone have any advice on how to plan the question 'How does Fitzgerald tell the story in chapter X' I was going to do a plan on what I would write about for each chapter but I'm not sure what needs to be included. Any help would be appreciated

    Form, language & structure.
With these you weave in the aspects of narrative. So with form you could put 'point of view' along side it and say how this shapes our meaning of Nick because its first person & retrospect so Fitzgerald is giving Nick the chance to change the past if he wishes to do so.
Structure - 'Time and sequence' if you say if its chronological order or not. What affect does this have?
Note- you can link point of view and time and sequence if you're careful and word it right.
Language - characterisation? Does the characters language change? Does his tone? Any language devices? What affect does this have and how does it shape our meaning of a character.
Because you're marked on A02 it's important you talk about the 3 point- Form, Structure & language. However, you can use any aspects of narrative with them. Those are examples.
My teacher advises me (I'm currently study for this exam) to make 3 main points.
So three strong aspects of narrative with evidence, explanations, affect, how does it shape meaning of event or character?
Always plan! It helps so much and helps you detail and not ramble.
    Good luck.
