I am starting a role with a credit trading desk soon mainly credit and distressed. i dont have any direct experience in the credit space.

What are the essentials to learn for this role? I have brushed up on the basics hit a few textbooks, but want to be a bit more street savvy.

Anyone clued up on credit point me in the right direction?
