I've got all of my offers for Sport and Exercise Science degrees, but I'm still to make a decision on either Loughborough (AAB), Birmingham(ABB) and Exeter(AAB). Loughborough is the renowned for Sport and Exercise Science, however both Exeter and Birmingham are Russell Group Universities. I've visited all three and liked them all - can anyone give me anymore decision making "factors" before I have to finalise my decision?

    Cheers!

Look at the nitty-gritty detail of the actual courses. Look beyond the 'this is what the course is all about' description, and look at the long descriptions of the individual units/modules, not just the titles. You might have to dig about a bit on the website to find this, and if you cant find it email the Dept and ask for it.

Think about the actual units you would choose. And look at things like assessment methods (are you better at exams or coursework?), and the amount of lectures/classes/practicals on each course. Are there any added extras like a Year Abroad, built in work experience or placements?

Its your enthusiasm and interest in the course that will carry you through three years of study. Whilst the Uni environment etc is important and you need to choose a Uni where you will feel comfortable, your passion about the actual course is *more* important. And btw, dont get hung up on 'Russell Group' - all three of the Unis you are considering are 'good' Unis and a degree from any of them will be worth having.
