Biochemistry

Do you need an A level in biology to study biochemistry? because I dont think I can take biology as an A level

No, but you need Chemistry. Depending on the uni you might need an additional science subject too.

Hi i am currently doing biochemistry at univeristy of essex and it has proven very useless to have my a-level in biology because most of my first year was already covered in my biology course. but it is not a requirement you must have a-level chemistry plus a second science subject (which can include maths) :smile:
