Eating disorder - compulsive / overeating Watch

    Hi all.

I recently read Fat Is A Feminist Issue and realised for the first time that overeating is also a food disorder, and one I suffer from.

I binge eat, eat secretly/alone, eat to a point of uncomfortable fullness, eat when I am not hungry, don't purge, feel guilty, have weight fluctuation etc. I will often eat things I don't even want e.g. dry cereal.

Anyway, I am trying to find a selfhelp group to attend which is what the book suggested, but having real difficulty. Anything I can find looks distinctly religious, which I am not.

    Does anyone have any suggestions?

    Many thanks.

just accept yourself the way you are. It's society thats making you think you are over weight etc, don't let them get to your head
