Hi all, I like keeping up with current affairs and there are certain newspapers/websites I go to when I want to see what's going on, but I'd be interested if anyone could suggest political commentators to read/listen to with interesting views who aren't particularly affiliated with or constrained by particular publications.

    Especially Dan Hannan.
Although if you don't share his political views you may hate him

    edit:

    I also follow The Commentator

If you're a raging left winger I would suggest the CiF section of the guardian, the most despicable champagne socialists all gather there to practice being snobbish and patronising.

Charles Krauthammer if you're interested in the US and its affairs.
