Hi guys! Obviously I've just joined, but hopefully I'm going to enjoy it here as I've alreayd seen so many interesting threads
I'm 16 and studying AS biology, english literature, sociology and philosophy.
I'd like to go into teaching sociology to a sixth form/college. Although, I was wondering about the whole process of going into teaching;
If I want to teach a seperate subject (i.e. geography) to the high school students, do I have to split my degree to do both subjects? From what I've heard from teachers at my school, if departments are lacking in teachers they kind of chuck you into the subject, regardless of if you've done a degree in it or not.
I'd just like it to be made a little more clear to me
Please and thank you!
