Do any of you study in coffee shops? How often do you do it and do you find it helps?

I tried it once or twice, but i got distracted a lot as well as spending quite a bit on food

I have a three-hour gap between lectures on a Friday afternoon, and I generally spend it in Costa doing assignments(not quite the same as studying, I know). I prefer working there to the library or anywhere like that, I think I just work best in a more casual environment, but if you can only concentrate when there's no noise about then maybe it's not for you.

See last year I was able to do this personally. But this year I actually really struggle with studying in coffee shops as I do find that some shops have an overwhelming smell that's quite distracting (for example, Starbucks are the biggest culprits of this).

I prefer to work in cafés :yep:
