Say if one was to get an A in AS Biology, then after completing their A2 Biology they get an overall D. Can they still claim to have an A AS in Biology whilst ignoring the A2 or is the AS mark wiped?

Well basically if that was the case then you got a D in 'A-level biology'.

I think you should just not cash in for the A2 Biology modules.

Of course you can keep the A for As. Just tell your school's examination officer that you want to drop the whole A2 year

You get exam certificates after both years so you can say that you got an A in AS Biology, but you got a D in A-Level Biology.
