Masters in Accounting watch

    • Thread Starter

    Hi all,

I was looking at completing a Masters in Accounting, but I am completing a degree in accounting and finance.

The question is whether it's beneficial to study accounting at Masters, or will it be aimed at newcomers to accounting but with slightly more advanced topics.

If so, should I do a related subject like finance, or investment etc, even though I understand it should be in something I thoroughly enjoy.

N.B. I'm looking to do an accounting PhD and become a lecturer, and would prefer to do an MRes for research experience and methods.
