Hi I'm at college at the moment but want to study a media course at university. I'm swamped in prospectuses and they all seem the same to me so I need advice!

What university to you study media at and do you enjoy it?

    Thanks!

I'm not a current media student although that's should change in September

    But If I was you I would be looking at;

    Bournemouth University
    Arts University Bournemouth
    Westminster University
    Ravensbourne
    Aberystwyth University
    Edge Hill University
    Salford University

Theses are seen as the best university's for media.

Bournemouth is the only institute of media excellence in the UK and has a good TV production course.

Bournemouth arts is ranked in first for creative university courses, and has a great film course.

Westminster has good location (London) and has a highly regarded Film Course.

Ravensbourne has a good location (London, Greenwich) and is a media specialist and has newly offered courses.

    Aberystwyth has highly regarded courses.

Edge Hill has a good location (near Manchester) and offers a wide range of courses.

Salford is in partnership with the media city in Manchester (which is home to the BBC and partly ITV)

Hope this helped, although you'll need to research into other factors like accommodation, living expenses, night life etc... (London is more expensive then most)
