Thank you so much guys this has really helped but I'm just wondering how to kick out procrastination it's a real bugger  how did you guys do it
Electronics are a huge problem with procrastination; I recommend you put phone, iPod, laptop etc in a place where you won't be tempted to use them (i.e.. in another room) and use them only when you've finished your goals for the day...as a kind of reward I guess! Also, using them in your break is a big mistake because you usually end up running over your allotted break time; instead, read a book, do some exercise or have something to eat (tea and biscuits are good). Hope this helps!

Revise loads, old school textbook and notepad stuff worked for me, lots of past papers, mainly for subjects in which you can mark it accurately yourself, (sciences and maths). In terms of how to revise, everyone is a different kind of learner, so different techniques work well for different people. I for example find music distracting when i revise, others find it beneficial. You simply need to find the techniques that work best for you. With GCSE's though, one thing is for certain, enough revision and it is fairly easy to get a large amount of A*.
    Good Luck
