So i have done 2 controlled assessments:a film review and a comparative analysis of Shakespeare's work.
For them i used descriptive words and good sentence starters/quotations etc from existing film reviews/essays.

I told my teacher that i want to redo them because i'm scared that if they get sent off for moderation they will think i have cheated, shes not so keen on the idea,
she said that i can put quotation marks around the quotes and QUOTE them.
    Would this be ok??
Would i have to put my sources at the bottom?
    (They have already been marked)

Please, please give me some advice, SHOULD i pester her to get me to redo them or shall i just QUOTE? Which would be ok?

    thanks

I'd suggest do whatever your teacher says. Yes you can put quotation marks around them, don't think you need to put references at GCSE level. But check this again with your teacher to make sure you are on the right track.

    Good Luck

I don't think you need to put the sources at the bottom, but it is never a bad thing. I think at GCSE, as long as you put it in quotation marks and then say "written by ...", you will be fine.

Although it is better to use original ideas and refrain from quoting other people, it is allowed as long as your properly cite your sources.
