I joined this so I could get some opinions/advice! I am currently on a gap year and would love to have a career in Textiles-mainly interior. I was wondering if anyone knows whether its worth going to university to get a degree in this subject, I really don't know what to do as it's a lot of money and would I regret going and ending up that I didn't really need to go to university?
I need some advice! Watch

I think that rather than asking this on a student forum you'd get more concrete advice by talking to employers or people already working in this area. Ask them how they got into it and whether they consider university a useful thing (and if they do if they'd recommend any particularly useful courses).
It could be that rather than a degree you would be better off getting a Foundation Degree or an HNC/HND which tend to be shorter and more work focused qualifications (and ones you can always top up to a degree at a later date).
